Do you think that movie Princess Peach was particularly out of character compared to the games? This seems to be a common opinion, but I just don't see it. The more I play games with her either as a playable character or an NPC, game Peach seems to be everything movie Peach is: kind, headstrong, diplomatic but also willing to fight when necessary. People who know more than a cursory glance at Super Mario know that she's not helpless, so I'm not assuming that this is isn't it.
I think what threw most people off was seeing Princes Peach being so fiercely independent.
In many mainstream Mario games Peach's desperation for help is the driving force of the story. Her archetype is to be a gentle, beautiful, pitiable victim of an evil monster. She is reaching out and begging for rescue, and you alone can save her.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Yes, she's quite powerful in her own right and playable in a number of games, but actual character moments in these instances are rare, and definitely not enough to undo decades of her being the poster girl for "damsel in distress." Not to say Peach is pathetic. Her humble kingdom is easily overwhelmed, her soldiers are toddler-sized and squishy, and most of her kidnappings use the element of surprise. She's doing the best she can amidst impossible circumstances, but she's all too aware of how much she needs help.
But the movie doesn't take that route. In the movie she has been warring with Bowser on her own for years, and traveling independently to far-off places to ensure The Mushroom Kingdom doesn't get mixed up in the fight. She is confident in her own abilities, and more protector than protected.
Tumblr media
She's not the delicate crown jewel of a vulnerable people, but a mama bear who will come at your throat if you threaten her family. The closest version of Peach I can think of that matches Movie Peach's level of grit and independence is Peach from the Super Mario Adventures comic.
Tumblr media
But, unfortunately, those comics are not exactly part of the lexicon of the average, casual Mario enjoyer.
However, I do think this says something about how characters are subject to change depending on the medium. The Mario Movie and the Mario Adventure Comics are both narrative driven, which means that Princess Peach needs to be more than just an end goal the players feels sorry for. What works in games will not always work in a fully fleshed-out story.
Tumblr media
With Peach being (at present) the only female in the main cast, keeping her cutesy and vulnerable while ensuring she stays part of the action would be an extremely difficult balancing act. In an isekai-style origin story where Mario is just beginning to learn how to be a hero? Even more so. So they instead make her a mentor figure, guiding Mario through the strange new world he and his brother are lost in. It's different, but it's not a bad different. Peach is still diplomatic, feminine, and empathetic, but her role as a lone royal safeguarding The Mushroom Kingdom makes a touch more sense on paper.
All I ask is that she keep her tea parties and cake baking.

Summary: Babysitting and a bit of reflection of a past encounter is just the kick Natsu needs to get started on thinking about his future. Notes: At the end. Nalu Week 2023 day 7. Prompt: New Adventures. Ao3
***
For being a mom of three kids, Levy was weirdly calm. Lucy realised that as she spent time with her friend: she was rusty at the beginning, sure, she had two newborns to take care of and she was completely new to everything, but she had a very involved, very loving father to the children, and also what many people didn’t always consider to incorporate – a community that helped her whenever she asked. This community included, but was not limited to, the guild.
Currently, she and Lucy sat and enjoyed their lunch together, as Gajeel and Natsu sat one table away. Gajeel was caring for his and Levy’s latest addition to the family, Akane, while Natsu kept Kanetatsu and Kanae entertained. Though they would never admit it, and would absolutely hate to hear it – Natsu and Gajeel worked well as a team. Gajeel had all the actual parenting down, he did well with the fostering and the diapers and feeding, while Natsu had a natural talent when it came to entertaining. His skills shouldn’t be underestimated: to actually engage with the kids and play in a way that keeps the games enjoyable was surprisingly hard. Natsu, however, was a natural. He knew exactly what ideas were perfect for their preferences, Kanetatsu preferring more wilderness games (he was going through an obsession with ancient reptiles) and Kanae loved Natsu’s story-driven games. She preferred to play pretend, that she was on a mission like the ones her mom and dad went on. And of course, Natsu would be the star of the show by narrating it.
Lucy liked watching him with children. Natsu was otherwise the type of guy you’d want to keep away – having a pyromaniac with no sense of safety around a couple of toddlers wasn’t ideal, but his entire demeanour shifted around kids. She had known this for quite some time. Back when they first met she only got to see a sliver of Natsu’s persona around kids, and that was through Romeo. Still, sliver or not, she definitely saw it. A brotherly connection based on safety and trust, not wavering a second as Natsu went to save his dad from the Vulcans. And after the seven years on Tenrou Island, she got to see it again – Natsu creating an environment where Asuka could both play and learn. It wasn’t the ideal day for them to babysit, considering the fact that bandits attacked them, but not only did Natsu put Asuka’s safety first, but he also engaged her to act and help in the ways she could. Though in Lucy’s opinion the danger in that situation was way too close for comfort.
“... And I was thinking we could go check it out tomorrow after lunch?” Lucy’s attention was brought back to Levy, the scene of Natsu and Gajeel and the kids fading back into the background.
“Sorry, check out what?”
Levy smiled knowingly.
“Something other than Natsu for once.” She winked at her. “The new bookstore that opened on the square. I checked their inventory, and they’re gonna sell your book there, so I thought you’d like to say hi to the owners.”
“Oh yeah absolutely! Meet me at 1 by the fountain?” Lucy finished her drink with a sweeping motion. Levy nodded approvingly and then tilted her head.
“Hey, Lucy… Wouldn’t it be nice if you had one?”
Lucy blinked in confusion.
“A bookstore?”
“No,” Levy laughed, “a kid. It’s a lot less diapers than you think – take it from me, I had two at once.”
Lucy felt her cheeks warm up.
“Well I think I’d need someone to have it with, before I start thinking about diapers.” She let out an airy laugh. But she knew that Levy meant with Natsu. And judging by the shifting eyes Lucy could see in her periphery, Natsu was paying attention to their conversation.
“Don’t you think it’s time to start thinking about it though? We always said our kids would be as close as we are, but I’m not sure how many more I can produce before we run out of money here.” Levy giggled, but Lucy knew she was serious. It wasn’t easy being the single friend in a friend group – even harder being a single friend in a mom group.
“Well, I guess I’ll have to adopt if I’m not knocked up within a year,” Lucy joked, now being more or less desperate to steer the conversation away from the topic of babies. She did, however, pay attention to Natsu’s face. Though she only saw it in profile, she knew he had been listening. There was something in his eyes, perhaps the way they didn’t really seem focused on the task ahead of him, that revealed the many thoughts running through his head.
Their current relationship was messy. Too intimate to be friends, too friendly to be lovers. But Lucy knew she wasn’t the only one thinking about them. The last couple of years, Natsu had been more present, more grounded in their conversations. Like he was soaking up everything Lucy said or did, and savoured that information like treasure. Lucy had noticed it, but she knew that not many else had. Levy included. Because in public and at the guild, they were completely normal. Talked about missions, kept their routines, went on team missions with Erza, Wendy and Gray whenever they got the chance (which wasn’t as often nowadays – Gray’s fault, since he rarely went anywhere without Juvia). But behind closed doors they allowed themselves some secret moments. Movie nights cuddling, hugs from behind while the other’s cooking, Natsu fiddling with Lucy’s left hand’s fingers while she was reading (the right hand had to be free so she could turn pages). There were lots of moments like those, but none that could be pinned down and refused in a “I only do that with guys I’m in a relationship with!”-manner.
Her thoughts were soon interrupted by the cries from Levy’s youngest. As they stirred around, Levy rushing to Gajeel and Akane, Natsu picking up both toddlers on each hip to get them away from knocking over bottles and wet wipes and other miscellaneous items, Lucy found herself drawn to Natsu. She could blame it on wanting to unload him from one of the kids, but they both knew he could manage carrying them both. Lucy should have brought her and Levy’s empty dishes to Mira, to minimise the risk of anything falling down on the floor, but instead she grabbed a handful of toys from the bag Gajeel had packed, and started giving them to Kanetatsu and Kanae, letting them choose from the soft, colourful figurines.
“You want that one?” Lucy asked Kanae, not expecting an answer from her. Kanetatsu had already picked his toy – a boar-like stuffed animal. “How about we go to the library and play? I’ll bring the toys and uncle Natsu will take you downstairs, okay?”
Natsu grinned broadly and started moving towards the stairs, roughhousing them a little to keep their interest. Levy sent Lucy a thankful smile before she went back to focus on the poopy diaper. Lucy took it as approval of the impromptu babysitting and grabbed the bag and a couple of water bottles before hurrying after Natsu and the kids – even if Levy said kids weren’t as stressful as they seemed, Lucy had yet to take her word for it.
In the library, Natsu managed to get both kids to stay on the carpet. Lucy swore she had heard something about the floor being lava, but the kids seemed too calm for that to be true. She quickly sorted out the toys from the actual useful items in the nursery bag and poured them out on the carpet.
“Aunty, play kingdom!” Kanae blubbered and started clearing out a space for the characters to live. Natsu and Kanetatsu swiftly gathered round, eyeing the toys they wanted to use.
“Alright, I’ll be the princess-knight then.” She grabbed the figure of a princess with a big poofy dress. They didn’t actually have a toy that looked like a knight, so this one sufficed once she held a small, toy sword against the plush princess-hand. “Do we want to start from the beginning or pick up where we left it last time?”
When the twins were just 2 years old, Lucy had created a make believe game with medieval themes – knights, princesses, dragons, kings and queens, evil trolls under bridges etc. Ever since, Kanae swore that it was the best game ever, though Lucy knew she preferred watching Natsu’s hot pepper eating contests. Natsu wasn’t actually bothered by the chilies, but he was good at acting out different stages of spice levels. When eating the hottest one he liked setting his tongue on fire, to demonstrate how terrible it was to eat it.
That, however, was beside the point. Even if it wasn’t the absolute best game, the kids still loved it. Natsu did as well, but for other reasons. He was captivated by Lucy’s story telling. All characters in the game were so different – some reminded him of guild mates, some of her spirits, others were more like people they had met briefly on missions. It was like she knew everything about everyone she met, inside out. Their dreams, their past, their reasonings behind certain behaviours. Her ability to read people was beyond great, and that reflected in her books and games. All stories she told, big and small, were taken seriously by her.
“From the beginning!” The little girl almost shouted out her answer, but her brother was quick to protest.
“No, from the part when the dragon eats the troll!”
Lucy held in a sigh. The twins played well together when they were on the same page, but as soon as their opinions didn’t align, their heads would butt together in disagreement. Their fights would often get both loud and violent – it wasn’t hard to figure out which parent had given them that temperament.
Before the twins began their screaming contest, and before Lucy had the opportunity to defuse the situation, Natsu had grabbed the princess-doll in his left hand and the troll in his right and started shouting.
“RAAAH, your fight is pointless, the troll has already taken the princess-knight hostage! Aunt Lucy, what’s gonna happen?” He flailed his arms around to somehow demonstrate the motion of the troll stealing the queen. Lucy sent a quick glance towards Kanae to make sure she wasn’t upset over Natsu picking Kanetatsu’s storyline – with no tears in sight she put on her best storytelling voice and got to work.
“Oh no!” Lucy exclaimed in a light voice. “The troll has taken me and the amazing ninja-wizards are nowhere to be seen!” She was relieved to see the twins scramble together their characters so they could join in – they had accepted the game.
“The two ninja-wizards hurried across the continent as they heard the queen’s cries,” Lucy read in a deeper voice. “They ran through forests, rode over deserts on camels, climbed mountains and jumped over rivers that were over 20 feet wide! And with their amazing speed, they arrived in only fifteen minutes!”
***
Levy waited a moment before making a noise. She had finally gotten Akane back to sleep after cradling her for the last hour. Gajeel was currently on watch, keeping the pram moving, which gave Levy an opportunity to check in on the twins and her two friends watching them.
As she observed her best friend and her pink haired situationship, her heart ached a little. She wanted Lucy to be the happiest version of herself – she wanted all good fortune to reach her, for all her dreams and desires to come true. And she wanted her to experience that one true love. For years, Levy and Lucy had read romance novels that described all kinds of relationships. Enemies to lovers, soulmates, friends to lovers, and all beyond and between. If Levy allowed herself to brag, she would say she won the jackpot. She had found her true love, she had experienced the full story. But in a way, that wasn’t enough for her. Levy took all her relationships seriously, both her familial, romantic and her platonic ones. If a friend of hers was hurting, then so would she. Now, that didn’t mean she thought Lucy was hurting from her relationship with Natsu – the opposite, actually. She was certain that Natsu made Lucy the happiest version of herself, which was only strengthening her resolve to get the pair together soon.
If you asked anyone else about Natsu’s and Lucy’s relationship, they would claim that they were staying out of their business. Levy, however, knew that those people were kidding themselves. Everyone waited for the day they would get together, when Lucy and Natsu finally would release the guild from the tension that had been built up from the constant expectations that lay heavy in the air. It hadn’t passed anyone’s attention that they loved each other. It hadn’t passed anyone on the entire continent – the two of them were meant to be.
Still, somehow their mutual feelings went past each other’s heads. The line between what was friendly and what meant something more had been so blurred that Levy wasn’t even sure if they could tell the distinction. For all she knew, they could have gone all the way, still thinking the other one didn’t love them back. Of course, if they had done that Lucy would have told her. Everything Natsu did eventually went past Levy – unless Lucy promised to keep a secret, she would tell her everything.
***
“Hey there babysitters.” Levy’s voice startled Lucy, who had been caught up trying to storytell herself out of a corner that Natsu had pushed her into. (Being surrounded by wild boars and having no armour, plus the two wizard-ninja-characters being locked up in a cell. Plus, Natsu’s dragon character had surrounded the princess-knight with a wildfire. Surely she could manage to get out of this situation without pulling the saved-by-the-dragon-card…)
“Hey Levy,” Natsu answered, himself not as startled since he had both smelled and heard her standing by the door watching them. “Ya’ got the baby to calm down?”
“Yeah, thanks for your help. Kanetatsu, Kanae, say thank you to aunty for playing with you, it’s time to go home.” Levy crouched down with a smile, catching the kids who charged right at her as soon as she finished her sentence.
“Thanks,” they mumbled in chorus. Levy sent a smile towards Lucy who handed her the bag that contained the toys they had played with.
“Don’t forget, bookstore tomorrow after lunch.”
“I won’t, I’m looking forward to it. Be safe on your way home!” Lucy waved goodbye to her blue haired friend. When she was out of sight, Lucy turned to Natsu, who had been standing right behind her during the parting.
“So, what’s for dinner?” A big grin was plastered on his face as he looked down on her. Their height difference wasn’t very big, but when they stood this close she almost felt like he was towering over her.
“We just had lunch and you’re already thinking about dinner?” Lucy asked, baffled, as she still felt stuffed from her meal.
“Ya’ gotta look forward to life’s pleasures,” Natsu argued. Lucy just scoffed.
“Well I suppose you can pick out dinner tonight, we have to buy groceries anyways. Someone’s been eating all the leftovers I’ve been saving.”
“I don’t get that leftover stuff. How can there be food left from one night of cooking?” Natsu put his arms behind his head. They had started heading home and were just leaving the building, Lucy taking the lead.
“Normally people don’t eat four portions in one go, that’s how.” She looked back at him, slowing her pace so she could walk beside him. “Though I guess I should thank you. I don’t exactly love reheated stuff.”
“Hah,” Natsu laughed curtly, “I know ya’ don’t! That’s why I ate it for ya’!”
“Oh, as if! Don’t act like you did me a favour!” She playfully hit his arm.
The sky was just shifting from blue to orange, making the sun give off a golden shine. Natsu looked good in gold. He looked good in all colours, but Lucy found him especially beautiful, lit up by the sun as if he was one of its rays. His skin had a healthy glow, his brown complexion mingling perfectly with the sunshine. Adding his gorgeous, sculpted profile to the mixture was almost too much for Lucy. Her knees wobbled a little, and she made herself look away before she truly melted.
***
After stopping by the store, the two of them were on their way to Lucy’s apartment. She almost made a mental note of how much money she put out for the food, but reminded herself that Natsu had been the one to pay this time. It was only fair, according to him, but Lucy felt bad either way. Even if he owed her this much, she still wanted to pay for the things in her own fridge. This once, though, she swallowed her pride and let him pay. It was nice to be cared for as well – he was even currently carrying the bags for her.
Natsu loved how independent Lucy was, he really did. However, sometimes he wanted her to be a bit more selfish. Ask for more. She was always the first to offer her seat on a full train, the first to give up her comfort for someone else’s. Even today, Natsu had to argue for five minutes before being allowed to carry both of the bags. He ended up spurting out claims to “need it for passive training” even though he knew it sounded stupid – Lucy couldn’t give up without a fight. Though he reminded himself that that too was a trait he was fond of. Her spirit was unwavering, and that could be quite helpful on missions.
That woman was truly remarkable, he caught himself thinking. He would have blushed, but thankfully it wasn’t as visible on his tanned skin. Besides, as a fire wielding mage, being bothered by having a hot face would have been quite silly. But the truth remained – he was completely smitten by his friend. Always catching himself in a longing gaze, following her movements and being at her beck and call if anything were to happen. It was as if his senses had tuned in with her existence. If she smelled differently, or if her smell faded, Natsu was the first to know. If she was shivering, he felt himself drawn to her like a magnet, like he had to fulfil his job of warming her up. If she made a sound, Natsu tuned out all other sounds. He didn’t even do this consciously – it was just part of life.
He recalled the day they had. He woke up with Lucy in his arms, ate breakfast with her, washed up in her bathroom and went to the guild with her. He spent the entire day in her vicinity, hanging out with the mates she hung out with, eating beside her, having a midday nap with his head in her lap, and then the babysitting. How he loved to hear her voice, no matter the things she was saying – the chirpy, singing tune that felt as natural to his ears as the sound of birdsong. Calming even, with a soothing effect on his mind. The fact that the voice was telling elaborate stories of ninja-heroes with magic powers and villains that could create volcanic eruptions out of nowhere was only a small detail – the content of her words barely mattered as long as he could hear her speak.
After getting released from babysitting duties, the two of them had continued to spend the day together. The trip to the grocery store wasn’t exactly exciting on its own – there was uncooked food and bright ceiling lights, none of them things that Natsu spent his day longing for. However, within this unappealing territory, a secret hid. The actual content of the store never became any more appealing, but walking along the aisles with Lucy was like entering a different world. A world where the two of them could stay together like this always, doing small, mundane tasks and still feeling fulfilled. In this world Lucy would ask about toothpaste preference, what type of coffee he wanted to have in the morning, despite her not drinking coffee, and she’d tell him off for only picking snacks that fit his own tastes. But he wouldn’t mind a little scolding, because at the end of the day, it was the fact that they were shopping together that made things special. She was making small changes in her kitchen so he could feel at home – that’s the world he never wanted to leave.
Currently, Lucy was patting down her pockets in search of her apartment key. He could see them in the back pocket of her shorts, but he didn’t bother mentioning it, since she would find them soon enough. He did, however, take this opportunity to tease her a little.
“Ya’ sure ya’ wanna stand out here and let the milk sour?” He grinned when he saw her whip her head around, her face clad with a scowl.
“I literally have the key in my hand, could you be any less patient?” Natsu could just make out that she rolled her eyes as she turned back around and unlocked the door. He was first to enter, still snickering from the teasing.
“You start chopping the vegetables, I need a shower.” Lucy shivered as she thought of the abundance of toddler-drool that must have been clinging to her body the past hours. Natsu confirmed her commando with a nod and started putting the food they wouldn’t cook with in the fridge.
By now he knew her kitchen by heart. That too was one of those things he felt fond of. To be allowed in her space, trusted with her items – not everyone had the privilege. Her team could be allowed in as guests, granted permission to make themselves at home, but it didn’t really compare with what Natsu could do in her home. He had his own coffee cup, his assigned seat at the kitchen table and in her couch, his toothbrush was allowed in the same cup as hers in the bathroom, and hygiene products had their own little designated places in her cabinet over the sink. He had a drawer in her dresser, snacks in her kitchen, a place to put his sandals as he entered her hallway. He even liked to think that she saved some space on the left side of her bed for him to cuddle up against her at night, even if she pretended to dislike it.
But it wasn’t just her apartment that he had the privilege to share with her. Not just the physical, practical stuff. She always seemed to fit Natsu into her life, whether it regarded an empty chair beside her at the guild, or an open lap for his head to rest on the train. She opened up all conversations she had, for Natsu to join. He couldn’t see her purposefully ignoring or shutting him out if he tried – but now that he was thinking about it, he also realised that it went both ways. Time spent apart from her was time spent in vain. He couldn’t enjoy himself without her by his side.
***
“Do ya’ ever wonder how Nasha’s doin’?” Lucy looked up at Natsu who had broken the silent atmosphear, her fork stuck in the air between her plate and her face.
“Edo-Lucy’s kid?” She asked, confused as to why he’d ask her this out of nowhere.
“Yeah.”
Lucy tried to understand what he was asking for, but his facial expression was vague, not serving her any clues.
“Well…” she began, putting down her fork to think. “I suppose I sometimes think of her, but I’m sure she’s fine. Lucy and Natsu are really good parents, after all.” She couldn’t help but blush when she used their names in that context. She didn’t consider herself to be naive anymore – she could handle talking about their Edolas counterparts and their lifestyles as parents without stuttering and stumbling over her words. That didn’t mean she didn’t still feel a bit affected by the implications. She and Natsu rarely spoke about relationships and intimacy with each other, so naturally her face would get hotter if he brought up a subject like this.
“Guess you’re right,” Natsu said, still seeming lost in thought.
“What brought it on? Have you been thinking about the quest recently?”
It took a minute for him to answer.
“No, it’s more like… I’ve sorta been thinkin’ of my future?” Lucy nodded a little – it was clear to her that he had been thinking hard about it. Normally he seemed so content to just live in the moment, taking life one day at a time, but she knew it wasn’t as simple as that, not even for him. He too had goals beyond just having a good next meal. “Ya’ know, ever since I reunited with Igneel I’ve tried to keep my promise, to keep looking into the future.”
He was looking down at his plate as he spoke. Any time Igneel became the topic of the conversation, he became very aware of the fact that he would never see him again. He knew Lucy could see how talking about him troubled him, and he’d rather not look straight into her eyes as he did. It would definitely open the dams and clog up his throat – right now he wanted to keep his train of thought.
“I guess I’ve just been thinking about what I’m missing.” He frowned, realising that’s not exactly what he meant. “The Edo-versions of us seemed so happy when we met them. And Gajeel and Levy have been weirdly happy ever since they had kids. So I guess I’ve been a bit envious.”
Lucy smiled. She knew how he felt, she really did. Having a big, loving family had been a lifelong dream, so seeing people achieve exactly that before she even had her first kiss riddled her with jealousy at times.
“But do you really think a baby would fill that space?” She asked. Natsu scratched his head. He had already thought about that, analysed their families to really pin-point the differences. The result? Natsu had everything that Levy and Gajeel and Edo-Lucy and Edo-Natsu had, except for kids. He had a home, he had friends, he had a loving guild, and he shared an amazing bond with someone he’d consider his life partner. There really was nothing else.
“It’s the only part that’s missing,” he ended up answering.
“Don’t you want a girlfriend first?” A wife, she wanted to add, but silenced herself.
“Why would I need one? I have you.”
Lucy blushed a little but tried to laugh him off.
“Natsu, you realise that I can’t get pregnant out of thin air, right?” She glanced up at him through her bangs. Was he pouting?
“I know how babymaking works,” he said to her, shifting in his seat. He knew he had started the conversation, but it was taking an awkward direction. Lucy looked like she finally understood what he was hinting at, her mouth dropping slightly agape.
“I... N-natsu! Are you suggesting we…?” She couldn’t finish her sentence before he abruptly interrupted her.
“I want a child.”
Lucy shrieked. Was this man hearing himself?
“I’m ready,” he continued.
“Well, I’m not! Hold on a second Natsu, have you really thought this through?” She crossed her arms over her chest.
“What’s with you? It’s not like we gotta make one right this second.”
“No kidding!”
The blush on Lucy’s face was spreading down her neck. She hurried to take a few deep breaths before Natsu sputtered out more nonsense.
“Look, it’s not that I would hate having a family with you,” she began, deliberately avoiding the dark eyes that were drilling through her. “It’s the part where you and I would make a family, that would be weird. I need romantic love to be involved in that process.”
Natsu observed her as she squirmed in her chair. Was she really this dense?
“Naturally there’d be love involved. What do you take me for?” He deadpanned.
“No, Natsu, I could only do that stuff with my boyfriend, you know that.”
Of course he knew that. He had been listening to her go on about her ideal boyfriend for years, he knew that hypothetical man inside and out.
“Couldn’t that be me though?”
Lucy frantically searched his face for any sign that he was pulling her leg. This had to be a joke – no way was this discussion happening over her dinner table on a normal Thursday.
“Are you asking me out…?” She felt herself blush harder as she voiced the thought.
“I s’pose I am,” he grinned at their odd predicament.
“Does that mean that you love me?” Lucy’s eyes were big as saucers.
“Of course I do.”
“Romantically, I mean. Not like a friend or team mate.” She cringed at her words, but she couldn’t afford mistaking him – her lifespan would actually be reduced to nothing if that were the case.
“Geez, Luigi, just what type of man am I in your mind? He seems awful.” Natsu muttered the last part, really hoping she’d counter it. Lucy, however, was still trying to register what he was doing. The man she loved was asking her out in the most Natsu-way ever, and she was just sitting there with her plate in front of her half full, feeling her jaw drop into her lap. “Of course I love you,” he clarified.
“No way.”
Natsu cringed.
“Is that your answer?”
Lucy flew up from her seat, her chair falling backwards with her momentum.
“What?! No! I mean, argh!” She grabbed her hair in frustration. “I love you too!”
Natsu’s eyes lit up.
“Really?” He grinned, standing up too to get a better look at her. She was sporting a wild blush, but her facial expression was stuck in a frustrated grimace. “You sure? You look constipated.”
Lucy would have reprimanded him if he didn’t have a point. Here she was, in the middle of her happiest moment alive, and her mouth was pressed together into a squiggly line. With a deep breath she softened her face and smiled.
“I’m sure. I really do love you.”
Natsu couldn’t hold himself away any longer. With his mouth twisted into a big smile, he closed the distance between them with a kiss. For a split second he found himself thinking that kissing wasn’t anything special, but that thought fled his brain the second Lucy kissed him back. Plush, soft lips, making movements so small they seemed more like adjustments. He loved it.
When they finally broke apart, Natsu had to ask.
“So what’s that stance on babymaking?”
Lucy giggled against his lips before mumbling her answer.
“Let’s take it one step at a time, stallion.”

Notes: please pat me on the back for finishing this... it wasn't easy, especially considering the fact that i haven't felt very passionate for this prompt. but i did it! for some reason it was really hard to portray natsu? getting that perfect mixture of goofy and serious is harder than rocket science, please don't hate me if he was ooc. at least they kissed, lol
oh! and here's my crazy long motivation to gajevy babynames: Boy twin - Kanetatsu, has these kanjis 金龍 where 金 means gold, but is also used as a general term for metals. It also covers money, coins, golden colour, just to name a few. 龍 means dragon, an imaginary animal, an outstanding person, a hero. Thought that was fitting with Gajeel as a dad, but also Levy who I imagine came up with all names. Girl twin - Kanae, written with these kanjis 金恵, the first kanji being the same as Kanetatsu’s, whereas the second kanji, this one 恵, means grace, caring and compassion. Most people probably know this, but parents in Japan often use names that will sort of manifest the life for their kids, so I imagine Levy would put extra effort into these things, as it’s a symbol of what the parents are expecting from their kid as well. And then the newborn, I named her Akane with these kanjis 亜金 because I thought Gajeel would like to use the same kanji for all the kids, bc I can imagine he’d want to create a little Redfox-clan lol, and 亜 means companions, which I like as a nod towards the guild, but also to make her be part of her siblings, despite not being a twin.
(wow, what a ramble...) anyways, hope you enjoyed and i'll see y'all the next fic <3 happy october! xoxo

Round 1
Propaganda why Charlie Morningstar is insufferable:
"Her entire personality was rewritten to be insufferable. She behaved like an idiot who didn't understand anyone or the problems they had. Her ideas were shit and so were her dramas."
"She was insufferable in the the Masquerade episode. It infanticided her so much, it ruined any enjoyment I might have had in her. She is supposed to be an adult woman trying to safe sinners meanwhile she acts and is treated like a toddler??"
"I know her whole character is naive and innocent. I even liked her at first. But with every rewatch I find her more annoying. She is waaay too naive and doesn't listen to anyone else's concerns like Vaggie's or Lucifer's, instead just believing everyone will listen to her. I might be alone in this, I just hate this archetype of naivety and innocence to this degree."
"Rich girl who doesn't consider other people's needs and boundaries until it gets too far. Literally builds an entire hotel to get sinners to heaven WITHOUT first seeing if her theory is actually possible. She tells Heaven AFTER it was built if they could offer some help or support instead of before it. Toxic to her girlfriend. Literally complains about having daddy issues when there's no issues to be found. Her father is depressed and although he doesn't like her hotel concept he never shoots her down for it. She acts like the world revolves around her rainbow ideas when literally noone cares. You being a princess means nothing to most people. Get off your high horse and learn what it means to be anything but princess of hell. The narrative wants us to sympathize with Charlie but gives us no reason to beyond Quirky™ and 'oh she's so nice' SHUT UP you're literally lying to the audience about Charlie. For all she claims to be, Charlie sure is a self-centered brat trying to live out some heroic fantasy with unwilling co-stars she forces to bend to her will."
Propaganda why Ebony Dark'ness Dementia Raven Way is insufferable:
"Everything"
"Mary sue
can't spell
can't shut up."
"Hi my name is Ebony Dark'ness Dementia Raven Way and I have long ebony black hair (that's how I got my name) with purple streaks and red tips that reaches my mid-back and icy blue eyes like limpid tears and a lot of people tell me I look like Amy Lee (AN: if u don't know who she is get da hell out of here!). I'm not related to Gerard Way but I wish I was because he's a major fucking hottie."
"She’s the epitome of insufferability and we love her for it."

CANON GYUTARO HEADCANONS
- I don't think Gyutaro would care about who he eats, I reckon he'd be open to eating anyone, man, woman or child, I don't think he'd get on with Akaza for this reason but there wouldn't be as much hatred as with Douma. I do think Gyutaro would avoid children, not for any sentimental reason though, just because there is so little of them
- I reckon he wouldn't spend too much time outside Ume's body only coming out to hunt or get the "ugly" humans from the store house belts. probably does this only occasionally to make more room for Ume's preference, and preferring the feeling of hunting a human down, prefers the pathetic struggle
- I don't think he's conscious when he's inside Ume otherwise he probably would have jumped out at earliest when she was attacked by Nezuko so he probably doesn't have a need for hobbies
- was probably around 7-10 when his mother died and left him with Ume, growth stunted by malnutrition and abuse, he would have needed to be at an age that would know a baby/toddler needs more care and how to care for them or old enough to be able to understand responsibility
- illiterate, but has a high IQ his ability to understand things quickly is insane he just hasn't had the chance to learn anything, I was surprised he knew how to do math to work out how many hashira he had killed, I doubt he went to school, this translates into his battle IQ
- probably had a growth spurt between 13-15, when he started his job as a debt collector and could afford more food than before, but didn't bulk up in musculature, stayed lean, there wouldn't be enough protein in his diet for visible muscle growth
- eats more than Ume, since she's a lot picker than he is, he'd eat anything
- when they were human they probably fought a lot because of Gyutaros harsh nature but they'd always immediately make up (think "fight ends, one of them storms off, 10 seconds pass and the other yells "wait im sorry, come back" and the other reappears "what took you so long?")
- gyutaro openly defends his sister, ume would have a different approach if anyone spoke bad about him shed act nice to their face but the second they're alone shed destroy whoever it was (self-esteem wise), until the samurai that is probably her first physical attack or attack that could have killed someone
- relationship wise you would have to be the luckiest bugger to exist, you'd probably have to have something that reminds him of himself like a younger sibling that you shield for him to not immediately kill or torture you, but he would also have to be attracted to you straight away to consider keeping you alive
- if you did somehow manage to worm your way into his heart be prepared he'll be very unpredictable, one second he'll degrade you, the next he'll be making you play with his hair
- mustn't forget the selfish personality Muzan liked so much, a selfish lover, takes more than he gives and God forbid you ever do anything to accidentally offend him or Ume, punishment would be swift and it wouldn't be the enjoyable kind

Picnics in the Park
Nyehehehe 2 am married JackRose thoughts go brrrrrrr
RORY BELONGS TO @screamintoad <3 <3 <3
Rose stretched, the sun warm on her face. Rory and Ace sit next to her, chatting as they eat their food. She crossed her legs out in front of her, admiring her just visible belly bump. Pregnancy itself wasn’t very enjoyable, but the result was. Looking up, she smiled. Jack was pushing a giggling Joey on the swing. She turned back to her friends on the picnic blanket, Ace squawking as Rory laughed about something - probably whatever joke had his husband as the butt. Adorable.
Rory glanced at her, then turned his head a little, his gaze shifting to the side. “Oop. It's a person.”
Frowning, Rose turned to where he was looking, back in the direction of the swings. Jack was still pushing Joey, but his soft smile was gone, and on the swing next to them was some lady and a child who looked like they definitely did not need nor want her to push them. She wasn’t paying the kid any mind, half-heartedly shoving them as she yapped at Jack. Rose felt her eye twitch. Her husband was definitely a treat when he was interacting with their son, the woman’s attraction was more than understandable. The obnoxious behavior was not.
“Jeez, take a hint, lady.” Ace muttered, his attention drawn to the annoying woman. “Uh… Rose, you good?”
She glanced back at the man. “Oh, I wanna skin her. I also don’t really wanna get up. It’s fine, the disappointment will hit her harder than I ever could. Just look at him…”
Even when he was annoyed, Jack was handsome.
Rory snorted. “Simp!”
“Mmhmm, you know it.”
Her best friend laughed. She was most definitely deeply in love with her husband, but it had become an exaggerated joke between the two.
“I’m gonna go fuck with her.” Rose stated, finishing off her tumbler of (unfortunately decaf) coffee. Rory stifled his chuckles, looking up at her. “What?”
“Help me up!” She made grabby hands at him. She could get up by herself perfectly fine - she wasn’t really that big yet and still as fit as ever - but why should she? He scoffed, but helped her up anyway, well aware that she was playing it up, a smile starting to fight its way onto his face through the faux annoyance. “Try not to do anything illegal!” He called after her as she started towards the playground.
“Oh, please, I save the illegal stuff for Ace!”
Rory cackled as Ace dramatically bemoaned how evil she was. She snickered, both at her friends’ theatrics and the thought of messing with the lady - who had gone silent and was now awkwardly pushing the preteen on the swing. It was almost punishment enough. Almost. Ace may have been exaggerating, but she knew full well that she could be petty. She reveled in it, even.
“My! Just who is this cutie? What’s your name, handsome little guy?” She cooed as she approached the swing Joey was sitting on, his face lighting up at her approach, albeit a bit confusedly. He’s a smart boy though, catching onto the fact that she was playing around. “I’m Joey!” He proclaimed happily, his words soft, round and slightly cut off in true toddler fashion. “What’s yours?”
Rose crouched in front of him - the action still manageable thankfully, even though it wouldn’t be for long. “My name’s Rose! What about your Papa here, do you know his name?” She asked, glancing up at her husband and winking. He smiled back, that soft smile just for her and Joey. It made her melt every time.
“Papa’s name is Jack!” Joey announced, proud of himself. Recently, he had learned that his parents have names outside of ‘Mama’ and ‘Papa’ and he had gone around to everyone he knew, informing them. It was the cutest thing she’d ever seen.
Rose giggled, standing up again. “What a nice name! Strong and handsome, just like Papa, huh?”
Jack laughed softly, raising an eyebrow at her. “Is that so?”
She hummed. “Yup. You look just like him, y’know that Joey?”
He nodded. “Uh-huh! Mama says tha’ alllll the time!”
She wanted to laugh and shower the boy in kisses for being so cute and catching onto her game so quickly, but she had to wait. She could see the disgruntled woman from the corner of her eye - but even if she couldn’t, the death stare being drilled into her head was palpable.
“Does she now? Is Mama around here anywhere?”
Jack snorted, indulging her. “Yeah, she’s around.” He said, giving her a questioning look. She spared him a quick, sly smirk before forcing her expression into a pout. “Really? Now that is a damn shame.”
Finally, her target took the bait. The woman scoffed. “That’s not appropriate language to use around a child, miss.” She curled her lip at Rose, and she came so close to laughing. After all the Overblots, this woman looked about as intimidating as a kitten. “He said she’s around so get lost. Or are you gonna keep harassing them and trying to break up a family?” She sneered.
Rose gasped, holding her hand to her chest. “Oh my gosh, you are so right! Joey, where’s your Mama, I need to say sorry!”
The boy seemed put off by the woman, but quickly smiled and giggled back. He held up a chubby finger and pointed at Rose herself. “Here!”
She gasped again looking up at Jack - who seemed like his self control was waning, his jaw clenched tight as he kept his attention focused on his family, not the woman beside them. She gave her husband a bright smile. “I can’t believe it! I’m Mama! Does that mean Papa and I are married?” She asked Joey, putting her hand to her chin and pretending to be deep in thought. The little boy nodded excitedly. “Yeah! An’ we live in a house an’ you an’ Papa have a room an’ kiss, which is icky!”
She laughed, finally pulling him into her arms and planting a kiss on top of his head. “Really? Well, that’s just amazing, I can’t imagine anyone better to live with!”
She tickled his sides and he squealed, squirming and giggling. Glancing at the woman, her mouth was hanging open slightly, the kid who was sitting on the swing in front of her gone. Jack’s jaw was still clenched, but there was a smirk playing on his lips, his eyes betraying the satisfaction he got from her petty mischief.
With Joey now on her hip, her lower back was protesting but she ignored it. “Say, how hungry are you boys? Uncle Rory and Uncle Ace might eat all the sandwiches if we don’t haul ass back!”
Rose had thought it was over, that the woman was done and would refrain from opening her mouth again. She was wrong. Apparently, she felt like embarrassing herself more. “That’s still not appropriate language for children!” She screeched, her tone shrill. She made a show of looking Rose up and down.
Rose was in a sleeveless top and shorts - what with the summer heat - and her tattoos were on display. The woman's gaze snagged on her face as well, clearly judging her piercings and dyed hair.
Rose rolled her eyes. “Dude, seriously? How desperate can you get? You went from making the understandable mistake of flirting with a handsome guy you didn’t know was married to being a judgemental bigot. Well done, genius.” She bounced Joey a little. “Hey buddy, do you get to say ‘damn’ and ‘ass’?”
He shook his head. “Those a’ grown up words. I say dang an’ butt though!”
She smiled, rubbing her nose against his. “Damn right. You’re so eloquent for how old you are, you know that? I bet it's all those books you read, good job buddy!”
He cheered and started talking about a book he’d read the other day - something about dinosaurs. She happily smiled and nodded along, adding sounds of astonishment in all the right places. Jack wrapped his arm around her shoulders, pulling her into his side as they left the fuming woman to stew.
Getting back to their picnic blanket, Joey restarted his dinosaur story so Uncle Ace and Rory could hear it too, and Rose happily sat down, leaning back against Jack’s chest.
Rory glanced up as Joey essentially climbed into Ace’s lap so he could hear him better. “So, no one’s dead or in jail. Well done, sistah!”
Rose snorted, grinning widely. “Why, thank you! Quite proud of myself, actually. She’s lucky I was in a good mood today!” She said, faking a posh accent.
Their conversation carried on, though she doesn’t know exactly what they said, as Jack wrapped his arms around her, resting his hands on her belly. “I love you.” He murmured, just loud enough for her to hear with his chin on her shoulder. She smiled softly, running her hands along his arms. She was still talking to her best friend, but she knew that he knew that she reciprocated the sentiment wholeheartedly. She loved her family, and nothing would ever change that.

DIY (Independent S/O Idea)
Tumblr media
I see so many posts about Bakugo who takes care of his s/o and it’s cute and nice, but what if he was dating or married to someone who liked being alone and was used to taking care of themselves?
Warnings : Some language, unedited, also this is way longer than I thought it was gonna be, reader has a big-ass dog, ummmmmm... think that's it
Tumblr media
☾ This is a little self-indulgent so bare with me ☽
So, before meeting Bakugo you lived alone. Maybe you had a dog or maybe you had a cat or a lizard, I dunno. Point is, you lived alone. And you liked it that way. You had grown up in a pretty full house without a moment of peace—which was fun and enjoyable sometimes—so, growing up, you knew you never wanted to live with another person EVER again. That also meant you wanted zero romantic relationships because no.
A romantic relationship involves two people who were willing to give to each other. Be it time, energy, or just a listening ear, they would give of themselves to their loved one all because they, well, loved them. You could give. You were very good at giving. Ever since you were a young, blubbering toddler, you gave things to others because it made you feel good to know they were happy. When you are older, you gave other tings—time, energy, money—you were very good at giving.
It was the taking part of the equation—the asking for help and support and love part—that you knew you'd struggle with. People said you could learn but you didn't want to. As a kid, you had spent your whole life giving, but people rarely gave things to you—toys, little gifts, sure. You got those things often enough, but the deeper things in life? The things that were a little harder to give? A listening ear? Empathy? Patience? Support? You didn't have a lot of that. So, you gave that to yourself the best you could because you were good at giving.
You were more independent than most and you were happy like that. You didn't want to learn how to take because you were more than content being by yourself, thinking by yourself, living for yourself... That sort of thing wouldn't be fair for your s/o and it wasn't like you wanted an intimate relationship so you remained single—a virgin in every physical sense of the word.
Then, he showed up. (Hehehehehehehehhehehehehe)
It was a normal evening for you. Nothing out of the ordinary was going on, you didn't feel weird, and your giant fluffy dog (self-indulgent, I know 😔) was lounging about at your feet while you worked. Normal. Your online business was going very well—yes, I'm talking entrepreneur kind of independent—and the ac was blowing the perfect temperature so things were normal—they were especially good, actually.
Then, he showed up.
Out of the blue, something crashed into your house—through your bedroom balcony, it sounded like. Your dog (Imma name him Biji (Short for Bijronson)—self-indulgent—but you can name him—or her—whatever, I guess...) Anyway, your dog shot up from his spot because of course he did, you did too. He trotted to the bedroom door—not a happy trot, but a cautious, purposeful one—and stood at it, watching whatever was going on.
You arrived next, eyes widening at the whole-ass man who fell into your apartment—into your life but you didn't know that yet. You knew who he was. Of course you knew who he was. The number two hero was a very noticeable man. He was large, a foot taller than you at least. His shoulder width was ridiculous and only enhanced by his small waste. Such a snatched thing. Truly a Doritos shape worthy of nacho cheese dreams. (Nacho cheese Doritos are mvp, don't fight me)
Then there was his stupidly handsome face. A scar ran down the right of it—from the edge of his hairline down to his upper neck. His light blond eyebrow was missing in the middle and his crimson eye was a little milky. He wasn't completely blind in it, but rumor said he would be soon. Most people said it wasn't a pretty sight but you always disagreed. Not only did it look badass, but it proved he went to hell and was strong enough to come back. Which was cool as fuck.
He was awesome—maybe a little bit of a jerk but you didn't need to like him as a person because you didn't know him a just a person. You knew him as Dynamight. As a hero, and he was a damn good hero. More often than not you would joke with your closest friends saying “If he's not Dynamight, I don't want it.“
“Dynamight is the bar.“
“He has to at least be six-foot Dynamight stature before I'll even think about it.“
Silly shit like that—all of which was just that. Silly. A joke. Never in a million years would you want to date Dynamight or any of the other pros you joked about. Your friends knew that. Everyone would share similar jokes before consoling their poor husbands or wives or boos or whatever because it was just a silly thing. You wouldn't even call what you had a celebrity crush. Dynamight and his companions were hot, attractive people. Simple as that. You appreciated the pictures, kay. And what they did for Japan, of fucking course.
We're getting off topic though. What was the topic again? Oh, right.
Dynamight was in your bedroom. On your bed. Your broken bed, might I add. All while you stood wide-eyed in your doorway, frozen as if you were the one who barged in on him. Then he slowly sat up, running a gloved hand through his sooty ash-blond spikes to rid it of glass. It pulled you out of your shocked state. It was then you realized Biji was barking and had been for awhile.
You moved to grab his collar just as the man stood up from his spot. You had been trying to sush your dog but those attempts came to a halt when you saw the condition the hero was in. Thankfully, it didn't seem life-threatening but, then again, you weren't a doctor and that shit looked like it hurted.
“Uh,“ you began, unsure of how to proceed.
The man looked around your room with what looked like disgust and you almost wanted to mouth off at him for the audacity before you realized he wasn't disgusted the dorky pictures of you and loved ones pasted on your dark walls. He looked confused. He turned around in your room a few times, eyeing the place and muttering confused curses. It was then you began to wonder how hard he had hit his pretty head.
You moved to straddle your strong dog who hadn't stopped barking completely but had calmed just a little. He was still on guard but you weren't scared—he sensed that.
“Hey, Mr—“ —were you supposed to say mr— “Dynamight?“
He looked at you. It was a sharp, unimpressed look and you wondered why until you saw his eyes dropped to your ramen pajama pants. The ones that said, “send noods.“ Not that they were embarrassing at all, you told yourself.
The man gave you and your barking companion a once over, gaze lingering on the large black and white dog you were effectively holding back. He looked tired, you noticed. Dynamight clicked his tongue before turning around and walking towards the sizable hole in your glass doors. “Wrong apartment,“ he mumbled and you gaped.
Ruining your beautiful and lovely bed because he was defending citizens from villains was one thing. You could let it pass cause he had a lot more shit to deal with than your glass-ridden floors and broken wall. His agency would cover the damages anyways.
Ruining your shit because he blasted his hot ass into the wrong apartment, however, was a whole other thing. Would he finance the repairs you needed to make? You hoped so but you didn't know, it wasn't during a fight, after all. No, he wasn't leaving until he promised his agency would take care of it. And until he recovered a little because he looked very unsteady on his feet.
“You're leaving?“ was your stupid, shocked question.
He scoffed. You narrowed your eyes at his broad back. Yes, you were enjoying the view and you would've enjoyed it a hell of a lot more if his torn shirt didn't show off his numerous gashes and cuts. Suddenly, you didn't feel like bitching to him about your apartment—you would make him pay for it, but later.
The crunching of glass caught your attention and you realized he really was leaving like that. “Hey, you're hurt,“ you said dumbly because you weren't really sure how to convince him to stay long enough for you to help.
“No shit,“ was his rude—but fair—response.
You huffed in annoyance. At least Biji's barking had stopped and he seemed calmer, albeit tense. Dynamight crashed into the wrong apartment, right? So he was aiming for an apartment in the complex, right? “You're apartment's in this building? Right?“
He said nothing but he didn't need to because you could see the gears in his head turning—could see the realization in his crimson eye. He knew what you were about to suggest but you said it anyway. “Just leave out the door—the actual door, not the one you DIYd,“ you said obviously, nodding to the broken glass.
He looked at said DIY door and grumbled something under his breath. Then he turned to face you. You rose a brow at his glare. It was his turn to nudge his head and he gestured it to your dog. “That flea-bag gonna let me through?“
“His name is Biji—“ “I don't give a fuck—“ “—and he might let you through, so long as you say please.“
The word please must've kickstarted an allergic reaction of some kind because Dynamight's face scrunched up like he swallowed piss. It was oddly adorable and you mentally nodded in satisfaction. If only he made such a face where cameras could catch and immortalize it.
“The hell is wrong with you? You think just cause I'm in your apartment you can order me around?!“
He was starting to raise his voice. Your hold tightened on Biji's collar as the dog began barking again. You took a deep breath in an effort to prevent your own anger from spilling out. “Yes,“ you damn near hissed, tugging Biji back because he was pulling.
Dynamight did not appreciate the answer but you didn't give him a second to bitch about it. “Might I remind you of how you barged in here out of nowhere. I'm not entirely calm and neither is he so, if you want him to be civil, say. Fucking. Please.“
“Be friendly,“ was really what you were telling him. He didn't look like he liked the idea, so you helped him out. “You ruined my door, broke my bed—which people don't get to do until after they take me out for dinner, by the way—“ —he scrunched his face again and you wanted to laugh— “and now I get to clean all that shit up. So, the least you could do is get your dirty ass over here to show Biji that you aren't as much of a threat as first impressions implied.“
A teenager getting his phone taken away—no, a kindergartner getting told to stand in the corner was what the giant hulking man ahead of you reminded you of. With more annoyance than you thought possible, Dynamight begrudgingly drug himself closer to you. He stopped a few feet away—stopping as soon as Biji became a little more frantic.
You gently caressed the dog's side, whispering and muttering calming words to him, promising him the giant man was a friend. Dynamight was allergic to that word too, but he sucked it up—as he should—and slowly removed one of his gloved before holding out the back of his hand to your dog.
Biji wanted to jump out of your hold but you held firm, slowly walking towards Dynamight who rose a brow. If it was in amusement, then you'd shove him out of the conveniently placed hole in your wall. Biji sniffed his hand eagerly. After a few moments, you felt his tail beat against your legs. A small smile spread on your face. “See?“ you cooed. “He's not so bad, is he?“
Biji was too busy sniffing the hero to respond—and he so would've responded otherwise. “Give the side of his neck a nice pat,“ you said softly. “It'll reaffirm you're friendly,“ was added when he glance at you in annoyance.
“Still think you can order me around,“ he scoffed, but much more softly then before.
“I do,“ you responded immediately, “so pet him.“
He hated it, you knew he did because why would a man like Dynamight like being bossed around by someone half his size? But the man gave Biji's long hair a gently pat anyway—not before wiping his hands on his pants, you noticed.
Both of you left the room after and you closed the door behind. “Unless you're scared of dogs, I'm gonna let him go.“
The man said nothing in objection—or anything at all—so you released the beast who ran up to Dynamight immediately. “He might jump so—“ and he was already up, paws on Dynamight's large chest and tail wagging eagerly.
“Biji, down,“ you ordered, gently tugging his collar when he went to jump again.
“Uh,“ you pointed down the hall, “door's that way.“
And off you both walked. No one said a word which gave you a moment to remember the hero's injuries. “I have first aid stuff, if you want it,“ you ended up mumbling because of course he would have his own medical supplies.
“Sure,“ he mumbled back, a rough but oddly civil sound that threw you off guard.
Maybe he was almost out? He probably had to patch himself up a lot. “I, uh, I'll go get it.“
And you did, entrusting Dynamight to Biji's care. You went to your bathroom and grabbed the first-aid kit in record time before returning to the entryway, just in time to see the Great Explosion God Dynamight petting your adorable Biji boy. You really wished you and phone right now because no one would believe you.
“Got it,“ you said softly, grinning when he pulled away with a scowl.
“Here you go, apartment buddy. Need anything else? Bottle of water? Painkillers? Anything?“
He didn't say yes or no. He just clicked his tongue before turning around to open your door. You rolled your eyes, following behind to make sure Biji didn't follow him out but also to make sure he got to the elevator fine. You knew he would—he probably dealt with much worse—but, just in case.
“Nice meeting you, love your work but don't make remodeling my apartment a habit.“
He didn't laugh which was his loss cause you were funny as hell. Dynamight gave you one last glance—a very judgy-looking glance before walking off. “See you around,“ you offer lazily before doing a double take.
He was already at his apartment. He was digging out his keys to his apartment because his apartment was—you counted the numbers.
814.
816.
817.
817, and yours was—“Dang, guess we're apartment neighbors, huh,“ you mumbled.
Not quiet enough because he tossed a glare over his shoulder. You chuckled nervously. “See ya 'round,“ you said and you meant it this time.
You retreated into your apartment after. Apartment 818.

time spent together + activities
Is more than PERFECT when it comes to spending time with your guys’ toddler. He has the most simple yet enjoyable ideas for activities that he spends time on preparing for the family. Practically inseparable from your guys’ toddler, he just can’t ever get enough. Managing time is his thing, he always makes sure he won’t be gone for too long so that his kid wouldn’t have to miss him. Isn’t usually the type to do so for no valid reason, but once he fell in love, he quickly got accustomed to this kind of “curfew.” One time, he said he was just going on a walk, but came back with a huge lego set & spent the entire night assembling it along with your guys’ toddler.
Daniel Park, VASCO, Zack Lee, Warren Chae, Jace Park, Jake Kim, Sinu Han, Kwak Jichang ( He has 2 lil brothers so I do feel like he is quite experienced), JAY HONG (Makes SURE that toddler won’t go through what he did), (& maybe Eli Jang if he wasn’t doing yk)
Is GENUINELY trying his best, but is quite clueless the more you think about it. He doesn’t really have much experience but is learning more & more throughout your toddler’s growth. He’s doing everything he can to ensure you & the toddler are happy. He be doing that good research across reliable and good sites online. Likes to teach your guys’ toddler lessons and skills. This guy is definitely the type to make sure you’re toddler has many skills despite his age. They spend a good amount of time with the family and the best activities they can offer is playing with your kid, whether there’s a good lesson involved or they’re just spending time with one another.
Kwak Jibeom, Kwak Jihan, Johan Seong
Is beyond QUESTIONABLE when it comes to just spending time your guys’ toddler. He isn’t sure what the hell he’s even supposed to do with the weird looking kid. Activities? What activities? He’ll be back home at any time of day he’d like, or not, one or the other. Doesn’t even understand how the hell he got to be a dad in the first place. He is the father, you’re both sure of it, but he is no figure. 💀💀 He’s a lost cause, and he wasn’t planning on starting a family any time soon. Well, your both still young and he’s got other shit planned, which is also why he only sees them as little gremlins that needs to stay as far away as possible from him. Maybe, just MAYBE, with time, he’ll grow closer to your little family and improve.
GUN PARK, Logan Lee💀, Johan Seong ( sorry but hes just a baby himself 😇 ), Samuel Seo, Goo Kim (i love him, but this mf is not gon settle🔥not rn at least), Vin Jin, Cheon Taejin, Yujin Yoo, Baek Hangyeol, DG, a lot of lookism characters actually🔥
Tumblr media
diaper changing
He literally offered to be the FIRST to ever change your kid’s diaper. They were pretty hesitant to actually do it at first, but they did some researching in advance so that they could nail it and impress you. You guys usually alternate, and he’s already become an expert at changing diapers.
Daniel Park, Kwak Jichang, Eli Jang ( only bc hes had Yenna )
He would love to help you or to even learn, and he has tried by watching from afar. But by merely watching, he already thinks he should stay away from doing this the best he possibly can do so. You got him to help you out once— PURPOSELY leaves or makes some lame excuse just to get out of doing it ever since.
Kwak Jihan, Goo Kim, Jace Park, Warren Chae, Zack Lee, DG, Johan Seong
He really wants to be a big help, which is why he keeps trying again and again. Carefully watches how you learned to do it and tries his very best to do the EXACT thing you taught him. Sadly, he keeps failing or just straight up making an even bigger mess. Despite this, he keeps trying his best to help in doing so.
Vasco, Kwak Jibeom, Warren Chae, Sinu Han, Jake Kim, all of big deal ngl, Jay Hong, Johan Seong (?)
Help? What Help? There is NO way this man would agree to do such a thing or worse, volunteer to do so😹😹There’s gotta be something so extremely special about you and your kid for him to even consider it 😭 But other than that, this man will not be changing a single diaper, their ego is too high for that 🤗
Gun Park, Logan Lee, Samuel Seo, Goo Kim, Vin Jin, DG (theres no f ing way💯), Cheon Taejin (this man may be hot but he can’t even dress himself 💀), Yujin Yoo (he might try to get Mandeok to do it but I don’t think he gon be able to even do it some what properly considering the size of his hands💀)
Why do i feel like this LUNATIC would actually do it? Tbh I think he’d kill y’all’s kid and experiment on it cs hes psychotic
BAEK HANGYEOL.

Note
I can’t believe I found people who think about this the exact same way as I do. I don’t get these hardcore buddie stans who suddenly try to make it look like buckTommy shipper are the toxic ones. I haven’t seen a single BuckTommy shipper who was rude without a reason (maybe a bit defensive about their CANON ship). Whereas I’ve seen plenty of incredibly toxic buddie stans who insult everyone who doesn’t ship their ship or share their opinions.
Another thing and don’t get me wrong Im not defending anyone. But I’ve seen many people heavily bullying the marisol actress because she’s apparently homophobic (not saying she isn’t or is) and wanting her to be gone beacause of this reason but totally ignore the alleged racism of ryan (again not saying he is racist or not, i dont know them personally) just because he is part of their beloved ship. By their logic Ryan should leave the show too.
Hey anon, it took me some time to answer your ask (chaotic life stuff lol) but I’m glad to finally have time to talk about this first part with you.
I’ll preface by saying I won’t get involved in actor drama, no matter how true or toxic it is because I don’t have enough information nor am I qualified to talk about the issues they mishandled. I’ll just say that, no matter who does bad things, they should be held accountable.
Okay, back to the main point: yes, it’s very strange how b*ddie st*ns are behaving towards the canon bi!buck thing. Both with people who ship bucktommy but also with the creators and actors on the show. Regardless if they are right or not about b*ddie being canon, this is not how you act with entertainment, specially with the people giving the content.
I hate to bash but it looks and sounds a lot like a toddler throwing a tantrum because they didn’t get a specific toy.
And toddlers only throw tantrums because they are brand new humans who are learning how to behave. They don’t know any better so they react with outbursts and repeated demands because it’s the only way they know to get the attention of the person taking care of them.
If I’m not mistaken, the main audience for the show is 18-45. NO ONE here should be yelling in comment sections “we want buddie! we want buddie! we want buddie!” as if they would immediately get it. It’s not how it works and it’s frankly embarrassing to see a bunch of adults acting like that for everyone to see.
And I can’t stress it enough, I’m not putting myself on a high ground here and saying I’m a better person by shipping bucktommy, as I’m sure there might be a percentage of fans out there being rude and annoying as well. But at least I’m keeping my conscience clear by not acting like me shipping two characters is something big enough in my life to ruin my enjoyment of a whole show in case my favorite ship doesn’t become canon.
I hate how fandoms behave as if they can have control over the content they are consuming. We aren’t entitled to anything and if there is supposed to be ANY discourse about which character was supposed to end with, that should happen AFTER the show ended! The story isn’t over yet! So why are b*ddie st*ns so stressed? If a show is making you this angry and demanding, please step aside a little, give it some distance because that’s not how consuming content is supposed to make you feel.
And I say that last part with sincerity because I too got way too involved with fandom discourse in the past, to the point that I had to distance myself from certain shows because being that involved made me upset.
Im just tired at this point you know. Im trying to protect myself as much as possible. Im not in the bird app, I don’t follow the show or the actors on social media, im avoiding interviews like the plague. All I want from this experience is to watch the show, gather my thoughts, form my opinions, log onto tumblr and reblog the cute stuff I see about my favorite ship without having to worry about whatever the hell is going on outside my pretty little bubble

The parents of class 1-A, and their favourite kids
Tumblr media
Parenting is hard: Trying to keep their stupid impulsive kids from getting themselves killed.
Let's be real, while I can see parents usually loving all of their children equally, most don't like their children equally.
Iida and Yaoyorozu’s mutual favourite child is without question, Asui. She’s the kid who helps out with the other children the most, courtesy of being an older sister within her own family. Iida also listens to Tsu-chan-kun, whenever she tells/signals him smt like: ~Dad, it’s okay. The others aren’t toddlers anymore, they should do/know/learn it by themselves. ~
And Yaoyorozu always worries about her, whenever the weather turns cold - the memory of Asui collapsing in that frozen room during the license exam, remains fresh in her mind.
Tumblr media
Parenting is hard: Both are parents, who would be tearing up themselves, when they see one of their kids being in pain.
Iida has another favorite child: Tokoyami-kun.
Class Dad went from telling his goth son off for sitting on, instead of at, the latter's school desk, to being in awe of him, telling him how he's "so wise" (ty, Michael J. Tatum for the awesome line delivery).
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
A couple of outings with Class Dad.
Not to mention, Class Dad internally praising Fumikage for being the only one out of his boys, who has proper sleeping manners. The light novels have a few stories in which Iida and Tokoyami are hanging out, and mainly interacting with each other within smaller groups (I think Iida might have been vocal with his praise, when Tokoyami “saved” a little girl from getting lost in the amusement park).
I don’t think there are many kids in 1-A (I can only think of two. Guess who?) who wouldn’t be able to hold some kind of at least semi-enjoyable conversation with any of their classmates, at any given time. However, I wouldn’t have expected Iida and Tokoyami to spent a noticeable amount of their very limited leisure time with each other. I found that dynamic to be a sweet little surprise.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Parenting is hard: ... but Iida definitely enjoys his role to a certain extent.
Yaoyorozu also has another favourite child. Although I picture it more as a favourite younger brother: Kaminari-san.
I might expand on this some other time.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Parenting is hard: The class reps totally deserve a vacation away from their children... but then they wouldn't be able to relax, because they would be away from them.
Sometimes, at the end of a long day, choke-full of classes, hero training, and whatever trouble 1-A members have managed to get themselves into, Yaoyorozu makes a large pot of tea to bring over Iida, who has already spread out markers and sheets of paper over the large table in the dorm's common room.
Class rep positions may not mean much in a lot of places in our real-life world, but UA is not a normal environment. Since moving into the dorms, Iida and Yaoyorozu’s (admittedly, many of them self-imposed) responsibilities have only been increasing.
Thankfully, there is a lot of trust and appreciation for each other between 1-A's co-parents class reps.
Which makes it easy to sit down and work out an elaborate plan of action for illnesses in their home, together.
Because having this many kids in such close living quarters, means being guaranteed an in-house germ factory when flu season inevitably arrives.
...
Where are the class 1-A during COVID quarantine fics? Gimme pls.

I am once again in your ask box to send a request because I the way you write out your headcanons is just for some reason pleasing to me and I have yet to find more good agere accounts that I can request headcanons at (this is the anon who really likes Fyodor and Shirase... I think if I send more requests after this I'll just sign off with - Fyodor Enjoyer since that's easier then saying this)!!
This time I am requesting more thoughts on caregiver Rui because wow I am also a prsk fan and very abnormal about Rui (I'm also not normal about Haruka but this isn't about her)
Hehe I’m glad to hear from you as always Fyodor Enjoyer! It makes me so incredibly happy to hear that my account has reached the target audience of people in both the PJSK and the BSD communities as that was my goal with this account. I’m so glad I’ve managed to do that! And the fact that you enjoy my writing enough to request 3 separate times? :0 I feel absolutely blessed!
Caregiver Rui headcanons
✩₊˚.⋆☾⋆⁺₊✧
⭑ Rui would be the most creative caregiver ever! He’s so good at making things, of course he’ll come up with and make things for his little one! He always makes things fun, whether his little one is a toddler brimming with energy, or just a baby who doesn’t feel like they can do anything. He’ll find fun stuff for them no matter what!
⭑ Rui would be the best at coming up with games! He’ll come up with well thought through, yet still simple plots for playing pretend! Always has plot twists at the ready to keep the story engaging. He’ll have like- A billion versions of tag! Freeze tag, blob tag, flashlight tag, shadow tag, you think it needs more people to play it? He’ll prove you wrong! He can make anything work
⭑ Rui loves making things, almost everything he gets for his little one will be handmade! He’ll make them little robot toys to play with, he’ll buy blank pacifiers then decorate them himself (With his little ones help of course!), he’ll make them a crib and a playpen, so much cool stuff! He can also make balloons! Sooo many balloons for his baby!
⭑ Picky eaters are perfect for Rui! Why? Because he’s also a picky eater! His little one will never need to have a vegetable argument, they’ll never even see a vegetable near this man. As a result of not liking many foods I think he’s learned to cook for himself really well! He completely understand if his little one doesn’t like something, he’ll ask them questions then make something else! “Is this a texture issue or a flavor issue?” “Is this an always issue or a today issue?” He’ll store away the information and keep on moving on! No judgement here
⭑ I think the pet names Rui uses would really depend on the little one he’s taking care of! He wants everything he does to be optimal for them, therefore of course, why wouldn’t he give them special little pet names? Pet names will be based on gender expression, interests and hobbies, favorite forms of media. Anything and everything! (Examples in order. For a girl he’d call her “Baby Girl”, if they like singing he’ll call them “Little Songbird”, if they like Paw Patrol he’d call them “My Little Pup”)
⭑ Rui’s amazing at figuring out what his little one wants! Even if they’re completely non-verbal, he’ll hand them some paper and say to draw what they want. That’s only if he can’t figure it out himself though! Usually he’ll just study them and ask for possible issues! “Hungry? Sleepy? Uncomfortable?” He’ll find the issue and make it all better! Amazing at avoiding tantrums
⭑ Rui’s best at playtime with an active little, but does that mean he’s bad at nap time? Not at all! He always has the bed made with super soft blankets and arranged so it looks like a sea of plushies. He’ll have a show on at low volume to help fill the silence, he has the best sleepy time milk ever! He’ll add honey and vanilla and just a tiny pinch of cinnamon, shake it up and warm it all up. Boom! Sleepy time milk at the ready!
⭑ I can see Rui making his own plushies! He’s not the best at sewing so he wouldn’t do it all that often, but he’s taught himself how too! Plus he’s skilled enough with a needle and thread to fix any broken plushies! Always prepared for anything!
✩₊˚.⋆☾⋆⁺₊✧
I hope you were able to enjoy my thoughts Fyodor Enjoyer! And anyone else reading these of course hehe. Everyone remember to take care of yourself! The secret to an awesome day is smiling and a good attitude!

MEET THE OC: SYLVIA “SYLVIE” HALFORD
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Adam turned around to face the direction of the voice before he looked back at Sylvie. “Nighty-night, jailbird.”
Sylvie didn’t even respond to him directly, instead quietly muttering a “fuck off” as she heard his footsteps leaving. Fucking finally — she could be alone.
But at the same time… she didn’t like being alone.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
ABIGAIL OC • INFP • SHE/HER • 27 Y/O • RAT PACK ALIAS: AVA
———————————————————————
a tortured soul — that is probably the most accurate way to describe sylvie. it seems that she was doomed from the start — an unwanted child, she was given up by her poor excuses for parents and placed into foster care as a toddler. she spent most of her childhood bouncing from foster home to foster home, each experience being just as miserable as the next. love. that was an unfamiliar word to her.
art, literature, and music became sylvie’s forms of escapism. drawing, writing, and painting were her ways of releasing her thoughts and feelings into the world. her sketchbooks and journals became her only friends. when nobody listened to her, her journals did.
if there was a specific point in time where sylvie’s life really went downhill, it started when she was 12 years old. she was finally adopted. at first, she had hope. everything seemed to be going well — was she finally being given a taste of what it felt like to be loved?
well, that was what she thought. the longer sylvie stayed, the more her adoptive parents began to regret their decision. just like that, she was taunted with the idea of love. when she reached out for it, it was yanked right out of her grasp. sylvie was confused. what had she done? what was wrong with her?
high school — she did well academically, and it almost became somewhat of an escape from home… but she didn’t feel safe there, either. she was the “weird loner.” she had a few friends, but they turned out to be fake. they all left her once she started experimenting with drinking alcohol to cope. she was lucky enough to get a scholarship to get into the art school of her dreams in new york, and once she graduated, she left her home in chicago, hoping to finally start a new life. well… she was wrong.
the college party scene sucked her in — especially because, hell, this was the 80s. hard drugs and alcohol left and right, it was a temptation she couldn’t resist.
that was how she met frank, or as he was known at the time, “adam.”
he just happened to be sent to “investigate” a particularly unhinged party at the college, all because one of the students, charlie, happened to be an associate of kristof lazar, infamous new york crime-lord. charlie and sylvie had grown to know each other, and became what you could consider “drug buddies.” little did sylvie know that lazar was very much aware of her, and this “adam” was a corrupt detective who had decided to flirt with lawlessness. lazar was fascinating to him.
after the party, sylvie made the mistake of attempting to drive herself home. adam happened to spot her and arrested her for driving under the influence. honestly? if he hadn’t found her attractive, he would’ve just let her carry on. and so, adam became sylvie’s worst enemy. he’d taunt her and flirt with her, finding enjoyment out of getting under her skin and figuring out what made her tick. when she was finally able to go home, perhaps adam was a little… upset.
sylvie soon moved to massachusetts after graduating college and spent the next few years trying to forget about him and turn her life around. things genuinely seemed to be getting better for her, but then one night, she woke up in a mansion. “adam” was now “frank,” no longer a detective but a full-blown criminal. sylvie thought she’d never have to see his face again, but lambert had wanted him to hunt her down and bring her to this particular mansion, realizing that she, along with the rest of the “rat pack,” was needed for a particular kidnapping scheme. unfortunately for sylvie, she’d soon learn that this was all the doing of lazar’s daughter, abigail. abigail wanted sylvie there for a very particular reason… actually two reasons — she fucked with charlie, and her connection to frank. she figured forcing frank and sylvie to be in each other’s vicinity again would be interesting, and she was right. playing matchmaker was the last thing she expected she’d be doing, though.
after succumbing to his lust for power and allowing lambert to turn him into a vampire, frank betrayed the bit of trust that sylvie allowed herself to give to him. she had come to the unfortunate realization she was falling for him, and he only happened to hurt her again — in fact, he beat her up quite badly when she tried to defend joey from him. joey told her to run, and so she did, running into a forest. frank hunted her down, and out of a combination of realizing he didn’t want to lose her and pure bloodthirst, he bit her. if she was a vampire, then they’d be together forever, right? he just so happened to be falling for her too, but he didn’t want to admit that. no, he could never. after nearly killing her due to sheer bloodlust, the little humanity that was left in frank told him to save her.
he was realizing he needed her, and it was scaring him.

Simple Songs Bring Sad Melodies
(Italics mean singing. Also I hope you enjoy part one of this fic and the words in bold are Meleanor)
How could he have known that a simple lullaby could hurt someone so deeply? Malleus had only wanted to sing to sleep Silver one Autumn night when the five-year-old seemingly couldn't fall asleep. Their day had been eventful for sure. Malleus had played outside with Silver outside for most of the day and it had been enjoyable for both of them. It had been like that for the past few days.
Lilia had left three days earlier and said he would likely return a week later. So as the night got darker and Silver seemed wide awake unlike he should be Malleus found it a struggle to get the toddler to sleep.
He had read stories to him, made sure he had a snack in case he was hungry, and even rocked Silver. But none of those things seemed to work either way. It was eventually when Malleus was considering laying Silver in his bed to possibly fall asleep by himself that the child of man looked at him with the widest eyes of wanting and said one simple word.
"Sing?"
So Sing Malleus did. It was a song he had heard a million times and learned by heart. It was a simple one that he remembered Lilia humming to him when he had been restless. To Malleus the song sounded like a promise full of safety and care. It had felt like a warm embrace when sung to Malleus. The only difference was that Malleus changed it ever so slightly.
"I know you, I walked with you once upon a dream."
Now that Malleus had thought back to it he hated how he hadn't noticed the slight green mist that was surrounding him and Silver. How it seemed to be radiating off of him and towards Silver. What he hated more though was looking down at Silver with jealousy as he sang. That was no doubt what had blinded Malleus to what was truly happening as he sang to Silver.
Malleus felt like the child was taking up much of Lilia's time. It was rare that he even visited the prince at the castle he lived in. It had been five years since Lilia had started the task of raising Silver. Lilia seemed to visit more than he had in the past but Malleus seemed to be lucky if Lilia even visited once a month since Silver seemed to be needing care so often.
"I know you. That gleam in your eyes is so familiar a gleam."
The child lived so carefree and unknowing of the world around him. Malleus wished he could go back to the times when he lived that life with Lilia and the two worried about nothing besides the other.
Lilia's door was always open to Malleus of course and he could visit whenever he was allowed to by those who were helping teach him what Lilia could not. Malleus had kept his castle open the same as well for Lilia and Silver if they ever wished to visit but Lilia seemed to always be weary of bringing Silver and had only visited once with the child.
Any other visits Silver was left with the daughter of Baul named Dalia and her husband named Gilen who had two sons and a daughter of their own. Silver had Lilia as his father and others that he could consider family as well. Gilen was even a human so Silver had someone else he could relate to even more.
But Malleus only had Lilia.
Yes in the future he had grown to trust Sebek and Silver as well and consider them as his family Sebek's family could even be considered Malleus' as well and he had others besides Lilia but Malleus had always had one imperfection like others. He never had thought that far ahead.
The reason for not wanting to dwell on the things in the future was an easy one. It was because thinking too far ahead would trick Malleus into thinking of the painful thought that he could lose Lilia. The one person he held so dearly at the moment. What he would give though to be able to fall asleep and dream of a time when it was only him and Lilia again. Where nothing seemed to matter besides each other.
"And I know it's true, that visions are seldom all they seem."
Silver seemed to be falling asleep gradually being lulled into dreams where no harm could reach him and most likely feeling certain that Malleus would be by his side even until the morning. Malleus began to wonder what Silver could be dreaming about as he drifted off.
Was it how happy he would be when Lilia returned to whatever business he had been called away to do? Even if Malleus' mother was gone Lilia seemed to still follow orders or go away on missions to make sure that everything stayed in peace between the humans and fae or listen to what Malleus' grandmother Maleficia asked of him. Another thought that came to Malleus was that there was always another possibility that Silver was dreaming of the time he and Malleus would spend together though.
Malleus was sure that he would make sure that whatever he and Silver did the child of man would enjoy it. Whether he remembered it didn't matter to Malleus but what did matter was that no matter what he would never fear to spend time with Malleus or dread it. If Silver ever came to fear being with Malleus or of him the fae prince wasn't sure if he would ever be able to see himself as Lilia said he saw him again.
"But if I know you I know what you'll do you'll love me at once the way you did once upon a dream."
The room went eerily still when Malleus stopped singing. It was then that he saw the green mist and what looked like a glowing string wrapped around Silver's pointer finger that led to what looked like the faint outline of a spinning wheel.
"The child shall prick his finger on the spinning wheel and die."
The voice that echoed sounded familiar and motherly. Not much time was given to think over it because suddenly the mist disappeared and vanished into Silver's small hand that gently gripped Malleus' shirt before that same small hand seemed to go limp.
That night would haunt Malleus' dreams forever and send him into a panic far greater than he had ever before trying to undo whatever he had caused. Scared not for himself from the anger he may be faced with by Lilia or how whatever had happened would break his father figure's heart.
But for the fear that the child that was slowly growing oh so dearly loved by Malleus as a brother would die by a fate the elder had caused.

Charlie agere headcanons
Regresses to around ages 5-6
She loves getting to be small and the only thing that keeps her from regressing more often is her need to take care of everyone else first
She is very talkative but she sometimes baby talks or lisps because of her fangs
Little Charlie is enthusiastic and excitable but easily stressed out. She has a hard time with making choices and prefers for her caregiver to make them for her or help out by giving her limited things to pick from (for example instead of asking her what she wants to eat just asking her if she wants a sandwich or noodles)
She doesn't like being alone much when small and will seek out people if she starts to feel little
If she hasn’t been getting enough sleep while big she will absolutely nap but when she regresses already pretty well rested naps are rare
Big user of the toddler grabby hands when she wants to be picked up. The problem is that she is often very hard to put down since she will whine and cling to whoever is holding her if they try
Huge bubble bath enjoyer!
She loves creative projects like drawing or playing music. She also loves to make up stories and put on little plays and talent shows for whoever is watching her. If she is regressed with others at the hotel she will try to rope them into her games and plans.
Incredibly excited to have other regressors around her because she loves having playmates
She loves fruit and apple juice and fruit snacks and taffy. Lots of soft food is very good for her. Also mac and cheese. She wont eat things with faces on them (pancakes with smiley faces, dino nuggets, animal crackers etc) because she ends up feeling feels bad for them
She has a beaded charm bracelet Vaggie made her that functions as a fidget which she really loves to have on at all times
Occasionally she needs pull ups since she is very easily distracted and tends to not recognize her bodies needs while small
Vaggie learned about her regression pretty shortly after being taken in by the princess and was very accepting of it considering she herself also regressed. The residents of the hotel find out pretty quickly since charlie is very open about it
Vaggie has been her caregiver for the majority of the time she is little however now that Lucifer is back in her life he has also started to step in occasionally to take care of her

Round 2
Propaganda why Dean Winchester is insufferable:
"This man is racist against anyone other than humans and abused the people he was supposed to love the most. He literally abandons Castiel at his most vulnerable and never lets Sam leave the whole hunting monsters thing. Worst part is that the fandom will get behind him and defend him because what, he’s pretty? Pretty much a terrible person, more like. I sympathize with his backstory but Dean has ZERO character development during the course of 15 whole seasons. When he DOES have development it involves abusing someone. Sam tries to be a normal person and always gets punished for it. The only hint we have that Dean might’ve been trying to change is a piece of paper in the final episode AFTER HE DIES. then guess what? Sam lives out his whole life and has a family 😭 that’s very, very telling."
"misogynistic scumbag. theres also a few different times that dean finds teenagers sexy with the most recent and prominent example that i can recall being the scooby doo crossover episode in season 13 where hes super into daphne who in the version they chose for the episode is 15-16 and is interacting with her as if shes a real person cause they got magicked into the episode. he treats everyone around him like shit and the only time the narrative agrees that thats a bad thing is when he has the mark of cain put on him and hes acting no differently than he does usually its just now acknowledged that hes treating others like shit. ive been rewatching the show for shits and giggles with a friend and wow he really does not treat anyone well but i wanna focus on how he treats sam for a second cause dude's hobby seems to be ignoring what his brother wants and lying to sam about doing stuff that directly concerns him the demon blood and souless things are reasonable cause those were both Bad for sam but theyre still part of a wider pattern and the most prominent example of this being when dean tricks sam into letting gadreel possess him and actually gaslights sam about it with the whole ordeal ending when its revealed gadreel lied about who he was and while possessing sam murders a friend of theirs. his voice is just also stupid as fuck im sorry this is just petty but he just sounds like hes trying so hard to be gruff n intimidating but he just sounds like a kid pretending to be batman"
"Dean’s list of sins is crazy long because of how long the show ran, but the key thing for me is that post-locking Sam in the bunker (season 4 I think?), I just can’t enjoy their relationship anymore. I normally love their sibling dynamic, but Dean’s ultimate worst past-the-point-of-no-return moment for me was demonizing (pun intended) his little brother for being “addicted” to demon blood, which only happened because of a series of events that were either Dean’s or someone else’s fault, not Sam’s. I also really dislike how the fandom treats Dean like this angel (pun intended) who has done no wrong and even tries to justify the MULTIPLE times he’s beaten up and otherwise abused his little brother. Canon Dean is like the polar opposite of fanon Dean: he’s homophobic and racist (jokes about a Black man being sexually assaulted in prison), misogynistic (take a shot every time he calls a woman a slur and you’ll die of alcohol poisoning), and abusive."
"Misogynistic asshole and too many of the things he does get treated as not actually bad or even good by both fans and the show when he violates peoples autonomy and is incredibly abusive to the people he loves the most. And it wouldn't be as annoying if people didn't justify so many of his behaviors or if he ever changed or even just was seen as a bad guy in the show more than he is."
">Was a misogynist (loved to call women skanks, bitches, hoes)
>Used gay as an insult multiple time during the show's run (idc if he's gay an homophobic, that's still insulting)
>Beat up his brother for being possessed
>Beat up his brother for losing his soul (not his brother's fault)
>Used dubious consent to get his brother possessed in a different unrelated possession incident after possession was being used (badly...this is supernatural after all) as a metaphor for SA
>Threatened to murder his brother when he was hallucinating (yay we aren't ableist)
>Locked a child up in a box
>Threatened to kill the child he locked up in a box
>Made a creepy, sexual comment about a barely-legal high school girl
>Got the woman and kid he was living with memory-wiped"
"Really mean to Cas (called him a child, zero respect for him, calls him family and casts him out when the angels are looking for him), and an absolute dick to Jack (threatening to kill him CONSTANTLY)"
